Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the firstresponsevf.com website and the First Response client portal, operated by First Response Vehicle Fabrication ("First Response," "we," "us"), 19136 S. Blackhawk Pkwy, Mokena, IL 60448. By using the site or portal you agree to these terms. Fabrication and upfitting work itself is governed by the written estimate, quote, or contract for your project; if those documents conflict with these terms, the project documents control.

2. Portal accounts

• Portal access is provisioned by us for approved clients and their authorized team members.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
• Notify us promptly at Contact@firstresponsevf.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
• We may suspend or revoke portal access at any time to protect our systems or data.

3. Estimates & electronic approvals

Estimates we send can be reviewed and approved electronically. By typing your name and submitting an approval, you provide an electronic signature authorizing First Response to perform the approved work at the stated prices, with the same force as a handwritten signature. We record the signer's name, timestamp, and device information as part of the authorization record. Estimates are valid until the expiration date shown on them.

4. Invoices & payments

• Invoices are due by the date stated on the invoice.
• Online payments are processed by Intuit (QuickBooks Payments) and subject to Intuit's terms; we never receive your card or bank numbers.
• Deposits and progress payments for multi-week builds are as agreed in your project documents.

5. Portal content

Build photos, status updates, and project documents shared through the portal are provided for your project's use. Content on the public website (including showcase photos) is our property or used with permission and may not be reused without written consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site or portal — including attempting to access data that isn't yours, probing or disrupting our systems, or submitting false information through our forms.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The website and portal are provided "as is." While we work to keep information current and systems available, we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the online systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of the website or portal is limited to the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits warranties or obligations stated in your project documents.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
